Become A Loco 2018 SUP Ambassador or Rider

Hey Locos!

It’s that time of year again when we’re on the hunt for some motivated SUP Ambassadors and talented team riders to help promote our beautiful performance-driven products for 2018.

Ambassadors

We’re particularly interested in SUP instructors for our inflatable range (aka iSUPs) but will also consider active types who love taking photos of their adventures and posting it all over social media. It helps if you live in a beautiful location or travel with your SUP a lot. Yoga teachers are also of interest.

We’re also on the hunt for any hard board enthusiasts so if you see the merit in having a composite board and have the skills to produce first rate flat water, white water or wave content we’d be very interested to hear from you.

So what’s in it for you? Well apart from supporting one of the most exciting and innovative SUP brands going you’ll receive a generous discount on kit that’s already competitively priced, you’ll have the opportunity to spread your SUP stoke more widely through Loco’s own media channels as well as gaining access to industry magazines where your SUP exploits can be seen by a truly international audience, you’ll also have the opportunity to test Loco kit first and have an open invitation to Loco social events and foreign trips where you can build your skills, knowledge base and socialise with like-minded individuals in a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn commission on any sales referrals which can either be put towards more shiny new toys or can be paid straight into your bank.

Riders

Our experience of working with team riders has been ‘mixed’ over the years so we’re being much more selective for 2018. If you’re the sort of person who’ll jump ship because you’ve been offered a couple of free sweatshop t shirts and caps or you’re the sort of person who plays off one brand against another to get the cheapest kit possible then does nothing once you have said kit we’d rather not hear from you. We have zero interest in posers so you need to be able to SUP in whatever discipline to a high level!

However if you’re a motivated racer, paddle surfer, windSUPer, wannabe foiler or white water charger with a competitive track record and/or potential for podiums who sees some real value in collaborating with a UK brand we definitely want to hear from you. In return you’ll receive our best level of discount (or even loaned kit at no cost to yourself if the opportunity warrants it), you’ll play an active role in kit R&D, we’ll raise your profile through our own media channels and look to promote you more widely through our industry connections. We’ll also help with photos and videos around specific conditions and at our socials and on foreign trips which again we’ll look to use for magazine articles and our advertising campaigns.

Creatives

Anyone studying towards a photography degree with a particular interest in action sports or any budding film makers are always useful additions to the Loco team and we’re happy to provide kit for any specific projects we like the sound of or will discount kit inline with our ambassador programme for a pre-agreed amount of killer content.
