What is the theme you’re looking for

Default This is a paragraph. It should not have any alignment of any kind. It should just flow like you would normally expect. Nothing fancy. Just straight up text, free flowing, with love. Completely neutral and not picking a side or sitting on the fence. It just is. It just freaking is. It likes where it is. It does not feel compelled to pick a side. Leave him be. It will just be better that way. Trust me. Left Align This is...

Loco’s BDSM-inspired ad is set to Whip up a Storm

As regular passersby will already know Loco aren't afraid to mix things up and flick two fingers at 'the establishment'. Subsequently it should come as no surprise that head honcho Joe wanted to differentiate Loco from the myriad of boring action/product-based press offerings with a provocative ad campaign that would stick in peoples minds or least get them talking. With the explosion of '50 Shades of Grey' and the subsequent shift of 'mild BDSM' into the mainstream spotlight Joe identified...

Credit: www.scottishacommodationguide.co.uk Loco Gets Sectioned Island Style in North Uist, Scotland North Uist 2013 Our first proper trip to the islands was to North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. We had already clocked up some miles in the van driving to the east coast – mainly St Andrews – and the west coast – Machrihanish – in search of any summer swell we could get! We set off, van piled high with windsurf kit, a surfboard and the SUP. We drove through...

Top 5 Surf SUP Buying Advice Tips

1) Don't go too small too soon. Although there is an obsession with using the smallest board possible at the performance end of competition paddle surfing is this really the right way to go for your average intermediate? This type of board affords the rider very little volume (float), can be very tricky to balance on in any kind of chop, suffers from minimal glide which often translates into lots of scratching versus maximising your wave count. As a...

Loco and Andre Le Geyt Part Company

Loco HQ, 26 March 2013 After a period of successful partnership it is with much regret that Loco SUP has officially parted company with team rider Andre Le Geyt. Following on from our discussions after the ISA event in Peru it has been decided that in the interests of both parties, we should go our separate ways. On the development front we've secured a couple of new testers to compliment Bouke's shaping prowess so it's business as usual for Team Loco. #GetSectioned

Further to winning the BSUPA Nationals at Watergate, team rider and chief tester Andre' Le Geht has been keeping busy in the run up to the Worlds in Peru this coming February. His training regime kicked off with a trip to Morocco in December where he spent much of his time at Boilers and Killers dispelling the myth that you can't charge just as hard on a SUP as you can on a short board! We'd hoped he could come...

Joe puts the 2013 shapes through their paces out in Fuerteventura

Further to last year's successes, Joe was keen to take a more active role in 2013 R&D. He headed out to Fuerte in October to catch up with Bouke with a view to refining the core line of boards alongside taking a more active role in Loco's Short SUP development. He was also keen to revise 2012's constructions as they weren't as light as suggested. As ever Bouke was only too happy to impart his years of knowledge, tweaking the...

The Extreme Academy 2012 BSUPA National Championships at Watergate Bay

Loco SUP team rider Andre’ Le Geyt dominates The Extreme Academy 2012 BSUPA National Championships at Watergate Bay The forecast looked decidedly sketchy for the event when Joe and Nick set off on their 500 mile annual pilgrimage down to Watergate Bay from Loco HQ in Tynemouth. The torrential rain and driving winds hardly made for ‘that warm feeling inside’ when they finally landed in Cornwall on Thursday. Loco’s ‘secret weapon’ pitched up from Jersey on Friday afternoon so Joe...
