Loco gets sectioned in Peru

ISA SUP and Paddleboard Champs 2013

Loco dream team rider and Jersey slayer Andre Le Geyt recently put on a fine display of SUP surfing against some seriously hot international competition.

With Peru serving up some testing conditions, Le Geyt managed to make it through to the repercharge rounds and at times displayed the kind of power, style and skill that could give any of the world’s elite a run for their money.

After bowing out of the comp it was clear Andre felt he could have done better but nothing should be taken away from the fact that Jersey’s number one SUP charger did himself and Team GB proud. Unfortunately luck this time wasn’t on his side but positive vibes should be felt throughout the UK SUP community as Team GB and Le Geyt more than held their own when it mattered.

Andre then went on to mix it up in the prone paddleboard event, proving that this Channel Islands waterman is no one trick pony.

Currently somewhere in deepest darkest South America, Andre Le Geyt will return.

We would like to congratulate him for his efforts during the ISA event and look forward to hearing his Peruvian wave tales when he gets home.
