Looking to hire an inflatable paddle board or premium SUP paddle on a suitable day here at the coast in South Shields or looking for the flexibility of hiring one to take wherever you like? Tourists visiting Northumberland often like to grab a board as they pass Newcastle as well as locals looking to head over the Lake District for the weekend. 

Maybe you already have your own board but you have visiting friends who'd like to paddle with you? Perhaps you're looking to demo a Loco SUP board or carbon paddle ahead of purchasing one?

Requirements To SUP Hire: 

• Must have photo ID 
• Must be a competent paddleboarder
• Must be able to evidence weather knowledge and the ability to self-rescue
• Must have own wetsuit and PFD 
• Must sign our disclaimer 

Apart from that it's pretty straight forward, call Joe on 07779 127230 and request which board you're looking to hire and reserve your time slot if available. Please note weekends and holidays will be VERY busy so it's worth booking well in advance! 

If you are demoing a board or paddle and end up purchasing one we'll refund 50% of your hire as a token of good will. 

Terms of Hire:

We reserve the right to refuse hire due to unsuitable weather which means you can either reschedule your slot or we'll refund you.

If you arrive and can't evidence competency or your wetsuit & PFD we reserve the right to refuse hire and your hire fee won't be refundable as you've taken up a slot that could have been rented to someone else. If you aren't competent consider booking a private or small group lesson with Loco boss Joe who'll have you up and paddling in no time (see other listing)

If you damage or lose any of the equipment you'll forgo all or part of your deposit. While we try to be fair fins cost £30 and paddles are £100 so try to be careful in shallow water and treat our gear as if it was your own. 

SUP Hire Prices

• Amigo Air Package - £25 half day / £40 full day / £100 weekend / £150 week
• Performance Inflatable Board - £30 half day / £50 full day / £120 weekend / £175 week
• Adjustable Carbon Paddle - £25 day / £60 weekend / £100 week

Damage Deposit -

• £50-100 refundable on return of gear once checked over

Free shipping is available to mainland UK; contact us for delivery quotes to other areas.

Inflatables and paddles dispatch within 24 hours, and delivery takes up to 3 days, depending on location.

Hard boards are delivered the following week after collection on Fridays, with pre-arranged delivery times.

Inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any damages for courier claims.

Returns are accepted within 30 days at the buyer's expense, provided items are in unused condition and in original packaging.
