Is the Race Pro 88 suitable for SUP racing and touring?

The Race Pro 88 is designed around efficient paddle strokes for racing and training, and can also be used for touring. Choose according to your strength, cadence, technique and paddling distance rather than assuming that a larger blade is always better.

Is the Race Pro paddle fixed or adjustable?

The currently available option is 88 Fixed. Fixed and adjustable options are separate variants; the 88 Adjustable and 91 Surf Pro variants are currently out of stock. Do not assume that a fixed paddle adjusts for different users.

What length SUP paddle should I choose?

The right finished length depends on your height, board, stance and whether you race, tour or surf. Tell us those details before ordering so we can confirm shaft length and whether cutting or assembly is required for the specific paddle supplied.

What does the 88 blade option mean?

88 identifies the Race Pro blade size. It is a blade specification, not the overall paddle length. Ask us to confirm the full dimensions and suitability for your technique before purchasing.

Does the carbon paddle have a warranty?

The listed paddle warranty is 12 months. Contact us for the current terms and care advice for the selected paddle.

Can I ask about a board and paddle deal?

Thanks to the success of our 2021 Surf Pro 100% carbon paddles, we’ve kept the proven design. However, we’ve updated the graphics to match the latest Loco range. These paddles come in 81 and 91 blade sizes, available in both fixed and adjustable versions.

Compared to the iconic Quikblade V Drive, the Surf Pro is praised as one of the best all-round paddles in the world. Whether you’re touring, surfing, or training, this paddle delivers.

If you’re a lighter rider or using a less stable surf SUP, go for the 81 blade. For most paddlers, however, the 91 blade will offer the ideal balance of power and performance. Since demand is high, we recommend pre-ordering to avoid missing out—especially for the 81.

For 2023 we have the Race Pro 88 – perfect for all you weekend warriors taking part in the local or national race scene. However, these paddles are easily used for whatever you like. Feedback for the Race Pro is that it paddles nicely and generates speed quickly and efficiently.

The Race Pro is currently available in fixed and adjustable in limited numbers. It’s worth mentioning that the test editor for SUP International Mag has just bought this for his own personal use – a ringing endorsement!

Inflatables and paddles dispatch within 24 hours, and delivery takes up to 3 days, depending on location.

Hard boards are delivered the following week after collection on Fridays, with pre-arranged delivery times.

Inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any damages for courier claims.

Returns are accepted within 30 days at the buyer's expense, provided items are in unused condition and in original packaging.
